A butcher block countertop is what we refer to as our edge grain construction style. It’s when the boards are turned up on their edge and laminated together to form the width of the panel. Butcher block is what it’s most commonly known as. It has a more linear look than our wood countertops due to the way the wood’s natural grain patter is and because each board is only 1-5/8″ wide giving the slab many more glue joints.

Like all of our products our butcher block countertops and table tops are made to last an come with a lifetime warranty.

Butcher Block Countertop Sizes

We make butcher block tops in any width you need but the length is regulated by the availability in the particular wood species you’re interested in using. Many are available in up to 12′ lengths and even 16′ but some are restricted to 10′ or less.

Butcher Block Thickness Options

We don’t like to do anything less than 1-1/4″ thick and max out at 5-1/2″ in solid wood. For a thicker looking to we can do a built up edge to give the appearance of any thickness desired.

Lead Times

As with anything of this nature they are longer than a standard product. Typically we run between 2-3 weeks but this can change if the project is large or if the wood being used is not available currently.

Rush Orders

We can rush an order for a 10% rush fee. We’re not trying to take advantage of your situation but rush projects put a strain on us and usually require overtime for the fabricators. Check out our remnant slabs to see if one will work for your project. You might get lucky and we can fabricate it quickly with no rush fee.

Butcher Block Countertop Prices

Unfortunately pricing isn’t simple. It depends on the type of wood, finish, edge profile, the thickness, features, etc. The best thing to do is get a quote. We typically turn around quotes in just one day.
